Yasmeen Fatimah

Yasmeen Fatimah worked in the Silicon Valley, California, USA for 15 years in senior product and services management roles in high-tech multinational corporations such as Intel, Visa, EMC and NetApp before returning to India to work towards social and economic equality in 2015. She has a Masters in Mathematics from Delhi University and MS Computer Sciences from University of Florida. She has many years of experience advocating for social justice and human rights and often presented at universities such as Stanford, UC Berkeley and UCLA. She is passionate about the environment and impact of climate change on marginalized communities. She worked with crafts women in Lucknow and Aligarh and had her own designer brand, Yasmin’s Nazakat in the 90s before moving to the US. She is also a writer and digital innovation consultant.
