Project Zarriya: Bridging Education, Skills and Opportunities
Systemic Challenges: A Call For Change
Limited Opportunities After Schooling
Many youth aged 18-25 in Trilokpuri struggle to find viable pathways after completing their education.
Financial Constraints
Rising costs of higher education and technical courses make further learning inaccessible for those from low-income families.
Lack of Subsidized Education
Without affordable education options, many young individuals are left with few career prospects.
Resorting to Informal Work or Early Marriage
In the absence of opportunities, many youth take up low-paying informal jobs or are pushed into early marriages, reinforcing economic instability.
High Unemployment & Underemployment
A shortage of skill development programs and professional networks limits career advancement, making unemployment a persistent issue.
A Pathways to Education and Employment
Launched in 2022, Zarriya by FFEC is dedicated to bridging the gap between education and employment for youth from underserved communities.
By providing access to higher education, skill development, and career-building opportunities, Zarriya equips young individuals with the tools they need to secure sustainable livelihoods and break the cycle of economic hardship.
Transforming Lives With Project Zarriya
With Zarriya, we go beyond education—we provide young individuals with the skills, experiences, and opportunities they need to build a sustainable future.

Academic Support
Through strategic partnerships with colleges, Zarriya covers essential costs such as tuition fees, accommodation, and transportation for exams and practicals. We also create supportive environments for online learning, ensuring education remains accessible to all.

Skill Development
In 2024, Zarriya collaborated with TiFs and FR Enterprise to equip youth with industry-relevant skills:
- Graphic Design – 11 youth gained creative and technical expertise.
- Basic Computer Skills – 40 youth enhanced their digital literacy, expanding their career prospects.

Practical Experience
Bridging the gap between education and employment, Zarriya provides hands-on internships and job placements. Participants gain real-world exposure through industry placements, such as with Food Tech, developing practical skills and confidence for the workforce.

Community Engagement
Beyond academics, Zarriya empowers youth to become active changemakers. Participants strengthen their communication and social media skills, contribute to project implementation, and engage with stakeholders—fostering leadership, accountability, and a commitment to social impact.
